The Light’ reflects the symbol of life with a message of striving for global unity. Kween G opens the track with a note which reads:

“It's no coincidence. There's been a high vibration felt. The past has bought us in line. We must carry on the message, the healing, the solidarity. We have all been moved in the same way by the resistance, by the existence. Everyone in this image is a vessel. Carry on

Following the latest release of Kween G’s ‘Sensible Rebel’ in April, her second single ‘The Light’ is a collaboration with Alabama-based singer, songwriter, producer Drea, and is produced by Zain K

The song is a call to raise consciousness and reflects on the impacts of continuous colonization of people and the land. To achieve unity and peace, an awareness of truth and injustice is to be acknowledged. Kween G translates this in her sharp lyricism
“It’s nothing new to me, shit’s confusing me. I serve community. We can’t bring unity. Repeating history. You’re always shooting me. Artifact-looting me. I come in peace to face the beast”.
